Lawyers for Britney Spears and Kevin Federline faced off in a closed-door hearing Monday to hammer out a holiday visitation schedule for their children. Currently, Spears only has twice-weekly access to her sons, including an overnight. "There was a proposal by Kevin that the holidays be shared in a certain fashion. That was agreed to. That's the best for everyone involved," Federline's lawyer said. "[Federline] was pleased it was accomplished without really submitting it to the court." During Thanksgiving, Spears took Sean Preston and Jayden James to the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills for a brunch of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. The singer dropped them at Federline's home later that afternoon. Also at issue in court on Monday was the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services' request for access to the former couple's case file. A lawyer for the county was present in the courtroom, and requested that media be removed before he addressed the court. The couple's next scheduled hearing is for January 23. Meanwhile, production on Spears's new video for her single "Piece of Me" was set to begin this morning at 8 a.m. at Social Hollywood.
