Justin and Drew are dunzo! Aw man, I was rooting for them! I even nicknamed them Drustin. Whatev, I guess they're still friends. - Erin Dustin
By the time yesterday's Oprah had ended, Drew Barrymore had not only expressed her feelings about her cutie of a boyfriend Justin Long, but more importantly, made the HUGE announcement that she was donating $1 million to the World Food Progamme.
Looks like Drew Barrymore and Justin Long are getting serious. The He's Just Not That Into You co-stars spent Thanksgiving with Long's family in his hometown of Fairfield, Conn. Then, on Friday, the couple kicked back at the nearby Southport Brewing Company. "They started out in the bar area and then moved to a booth, where they sat next to each other and kissed and hugged," said a witness. Long recently posted a new entry on his official website, saying he was headed to the East coast to see his "girlfriend" and spend Thanksgiving with his family. He also raved about Flower Films, Barrymore's production company.

Drew Barrymore and Jessica Lange will star in an HBO movie adaptation of "Grey Gardens," the 1975 documentary about Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis's eccentric cousin and aunt. The story follows the relationship between the mother-daughter duo of "Big Edie" (Lange) and "Little Edie" (Barrymore), who spent most of their lives in a decaying mansion on New York's Long Island. The project was originally announced as a feature film in 2006, though HBO films was not involved at the time. Edith Ewing Bouvier Beale and her daughter Edith Bouvier Beale made national headlines in 1971 when the Suffolk County Health Department raided their dilapidated East Hampton mansion - named Grey Gardens - and found more than 50 cats, raccoons, fleas, piles of garbage, human and cat excrement and no heat or running water. The department threatened to kick the pair out of the 28-room mansion before Kennedy Onassis stepped in and paid to help clean it up. Big Edie died in 1977, and Little Edie sold the house to Washington Post editor Ben Bradlee and his wife two years later. She became a nightclub singer, moved to Florida and died in 2002.
Jennifer Connelly, Kevin Connolly, Bradley Cooper and Ginnifer Goodwin are in negotiations to star in He's Just Not That Into You, an ensemble comedy to be produced by Drew Barrymore. The project is based on the best-selling book of the same title. Pieced together in the style of Traffic, the Baltimore-set story of interconnecting characters deals with the challenges of reading or misreading relationship behavior. Jennifer Connelly will play a woman stuck in a tired marriage with Bradley Cooper's character, and Ginnifer Goodwin plays a woman obsessed with Kevin Connolly's character who tries to set up accidental meetings with him. Barrymore herself will also co-star, playing a woman perpetually confused by dating, especially in the current technology-obsessed world. Production is set to begin in September.

Drew Barrymore is following in the footsteps of Angelina Jolie, Nicole Kidman and Naomi Watts as a U.N. ambassador. Barrymore has been named as an ambassador against hunger for the World Food Program after a recent trip to Kenya, where she toured WFP-supported school projects. "I can't think of any issue that is more important than working to see that no schoolchild in this world goes hungry," the Lucky You actress said in a statement. "Feeding a child at school is such a simple thing, but it works miracles. I've seen it with my own eyes." Barrymore was in Washington this week advocating legislation in Congress to increase funds for school meals from $100 million a year to close to $300 million a year over the next five years.
Drew Barrymore had been announced as CoverGirl's newest model and spokesperson. The Music and Lyrics actress will also be co-creating the ads she appears in, consulting on the concept, graphics, lighting, and photo cropping. "I leave the makeup and product up to them, that's their expertise," Barrymore says. "What I want to do is honor the tradition of CoverGirl but hopefully bring myself and my personality into it, as well as some edgy fashion-forward thinking and positivity to it... I like to be involved in every aspect. I'm a control freak but I keep those issues at bay when I work with other people." Barrymore said she jumped at the chance to try her hand at modelling. "What girl doesn't fantasize about it?" she said.
Drew Barrymore has signed on to be the face of a new collection by British fashion designer Giles Deacon. The Music and Lyrics star reportedly agreed to front the clothing campaign after bumping into Deacon in a hotel elevator. "Despite her Hollywood associations, [Barrymore] is ballsy, and has a playful 'child-woman' appeal," the designer said of his new muse. The collection includes animal print and embroidered skinny jeans, cotton minidresses and a range of accessories.
