Iya Villania, Venus Raj joins Umagang Kay Ganda Cast | Rica Peralejo, Bernadette Sembrano, Ginger Conejero, Bekimon exit the show

Adding spice to your early morning TV viewing are two gorgeous ladies who are joining the Umagang Kay Ganda cast on ABS-CBN. Starting this Monday, February 7, 2011, the morning show will have actress/host/VJ Iya Villania and beauty queen Mariah Venus Raj.

Venus Raj will be part of the entertainment segment of the show where she will be delivering the latest showbiz news. She will also be hosting a new segment called "Barangay Bida" which is to be shown every Friday. Iya Villania on the other hand, will be featuring the newest internet viral videos on the new segment entitled "Youth Tube".

Meanwhile Rica Peralejo, Bernadette Sembrano, Ginger Conejero, and Bekimon bid farewell to the cast and viewers of the show last Friday.

Venus Raj's Major Mistake

I'm still happy Venus Raj was able to make it to the top five but as I watched the replays and seen the crowds reaction every time she's called, I could not agree to the result of the Miss Universe 2010.

My disappointment to the result backed-up by the video below,from ABC News. Was it all about her answer to Billy Baldwin's question? Turned out that the question isn't really easy because it's a Major major! Former US President and some US journalist was not able to answer the question easily.

Who won Miss Universe 2010:Miss Mexico

Finally, the Miss Universe 2010 has been concluded and won by Miss Mexico.

Congratulations to Philippine represenattive Maria Venus Raj of Philippines was able to make it to top five whom we thought would not represent our Philippines.

Maria Venus Raj will not represent Philippines in Miss Universe 2010

Just seen from TV patrol this evening the news that Maria Venus Raj will not represent the Philippines because of some problem with her birth certificate.

Here are some words from PEP.

"Today March 29, 2010, Bb. Pilipinas Charities, Inc. decided, with a heavy heart, to let Bb. Pilipinas-Universe 2010 Maria Venus Raj go, after the organization discovered inconsistencies contained in her birth records, in contrast to her personal account of her birth."
