Project Runway at Fashion Week

Christian Siriano and Irina Shabayeva have received loads of press coverage on their Fall '11 collections. Here's a sampling:

More to come - stay tuned!

Christian Siriano at Lincoln Center

Christian Siriano, the talented and charming winner of Project Runway Season 4, showed a 40 piece Spring 2011 collection at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week on September 9, 2010. The collection featured colorful prints, most of them designed by Siriano himself, white sportswear and two show-stopping frothy gowns met with enthusiasm by the crowd. The music was composed by Christian's partner, Brad Walsh, who also designed the jewelry worn during the show. The shoes were towering with drool-worthy heel detail. Christian. Project Runway Season 8 Finale Collections

Ten Project Runway Season 8 designers showed at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week on September 9, 2010. Below you will see images of the designers in the order that their ten-piece 2011 collections were shown in the new Lincoln Center venue. In an effort to remain spoiler-free, you will not see images of the designs on the main page of BPR. Spoiler alert - if you click on the image of each designer you will be redirected to images of the 10 fashions in the order that they were presented. Purists, beware that you will see the garments before they appear on the show and that the comments will contain discussions about the looks.

Poll - Finale - Your Turn to be the Judge

You've seen the designs on the runway at Bryant Park and now it is your turn to be the judges. This week you are Heidi Klum, Nina Garcia, Michael Kors and Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham. It's time to tell us:

Project Runway in Elle Magazine

The March issue of Elle magazine (which was featured in the gift bags at the Bryant Park show) has several Project Runway features. The "En Garde" winners Christian Siriano and Chris March have their TRESemme ad reward; for Season Four there are a total of 3 pages prominently featuring the avant-garde look including this two-page spread. You'll find the ads on pages 311-313. You can click here for photos from that challenge.

Our friends at Bluefly have a two-page spread on pages 328-329 that shows how accessories make it work.

You can also find this Elle Project Runway magazine between pages 408 and 409 that features the office of Nina Garcia and an interview with Season One winner Jay McCarroll.

Finally, Levi has a four-page ad from pages 277-280 that features images from the seven looks in their denim challenge. You can click here to rate looks for their Project Runway challenge.

Poll Results - Your Finale Predictions

Many of you have seen the Project Runway Season 4 Finale Collections and we knew that you would have opinions. You certainly did not disappoint! We took two polls to gauge your response to the garments featured last Friday at Bryant Park and the results are in. You predicted that Christian Siriano WILL win the finale and SHOULD win the finale (click here for both poll results). Will our readers predictions hold true? Watch what happens!
