Unlike rings which tend to get lost here and there, bangles are another jewellery item which I solely invest about an eighth of my finances in. Okay, well not to that sense of extremity or professionalism but you know what I mean. Funny enough like rings, bangles also come in different shapes, colours and sizes this season. Like seriously! I know I sound like some type of hermit crab who doesn’t know the difference between blue and purple but don’t you honestly remember the days when bangles were all thin, silver, Indian inspired and easily purchased at markets for about $10 for 20? Ha. It seems like times have changed. Now bangles can be purchased at markets for $10 each but if you’re going to spend money on bangles, why not get the expensive ones? That’s what I always tell myself, and that would explain why I am now $300 short but have oh-so-fabulous gold and wooden Roberto Cavalli bangles trinkling on my wrist. Jealous?
