We all know and recognise that futuristic looking, yet oh-so-chic Nina Ricci gown which Sarah Jessica Parker wore to the Sex and the City premiere and yet; did we really know that this gown was worn twice before by other not-so-famous celebrity d-listers? Rumour has it that there is a littlething going on between SJP and the Nina Ricci company after the dress was claimed to have been prepared specially for SJP and never been worn prior to the premiere except in magazine shoots however (surprise surprise!) it had indeed been worn before by both Lindsay Lohan for a Harpers Bazaar shoot (where she was repeatedly photographed by a "throng of paparazzi" in that gown) and also by socialite Lauren Santo Domingo at the New York Met Costume Institute gala just a month before the premiere. Parker had expressed that she felt deceived by the fashion president at fashion division Puig, who owns Nina Ricci. And that is when we (at Iconic) say; don't worry SJP, you've always got a good pair of Manolos to fall back onto. Thank goodness for that.
