First, a programming reminder: there is no new episode this week! Project Runway returns on Thursday, March 4. Now onto the news:
Tim Gunn spoke at Georgia State University yesterday and gave up some juicy dish in an interview with the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. He's done defending Season 6, thinks now that the plan is to stay in New York for future seasons and that Bravo "meddled" excessively with who got eliminated in Season 5.
This Christian Siriano shoe is part of a WWD review of styles shown at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week shows. Think we'll see these at Payless?

You've seen the designs on the runway and now it's your turn to be the judges. This week you are Heidi Klum, Nina Garcia, Michael Kors and Tory Burch.
Rock and Roll! Honestly, I've only known Aerosmith way back in my college when I was in the peak of digging rock music.
The very first song I've heard back then was I don't wanna miss a thing. After seeing their video, I start searching about them and know more about their albums so that I can buy one in cassette tape.
Video. About the video, undeniably guys would love it because both Alicia Silverstone and Liv Tyler (daughter of Steve Tyler, lead vocalist of Aerosmith) are the leading characters. Now, who's hot? That add ups to the rockness of the song.
Recently or about a year ago, Philippine artist Rachelle Ann Go covered this song and honestly I don't like it. The video of her covered is also here.
There was a time When I was so broken hearted Love wasn't much of a friend of mine The tables have turned, yeah 'Cause me and them ways have parted That kind of love was the killin' kind Listen, all I want is someone I can't resist I know all I need to know by the way that I got kissed I was cryin' when I met you Now I'm tryin' to forget you Love it sweet misery I was cryin' just to get you Now I'm dyin' 'cause I let you Do what you do down on me Now there's not even breathin' room Between pleasure and pain Yeah you cry when we're makin' love Must be one and the same It's down on me Yeah I got to tell you one thing It's been on my mind Girl, I gotta say We're partners in crime You got that certain something What you give to me Takes my breath away Now the word out on the street Is the devil's in your kiss If our love goes up in flames It's a fire I can't resist I was cryin' when I met you Now I'm tryin' to forget you Your love is sweet misery I was cryin' just to get you Now I'm dyin' 'cause I let you Do what you do to me 'Cause what you got inside Ain't where your love should stay Yeah, our love, sweet love, ain't love 'Til you give your heart away I was cryin' when I met you Now I'm tryin' to forget you Your love is sweet misery I was cryin' just to get you Now I'm dyin' just to let you Do what you do what you do down to me, baby, baby, baby I was cryin' when I met you Now I'm tryin' to forget you Your love is sweet misery I was cryin' when I met you Now I'm dyin' 'cause I let you Do what you do down to, down to, down to, down to I was cryin' when I met you Now I'm tryin' to forget you Your love is sweet I was cryin' when I met you
Hi kids! Even though all of you should really be in bed right now, we're going to let you stay up late to watch a very special episode of Project Runway this evening. We've even employed several leggy models to look after you. Won't this be fun?!?
Welcome all to the BPR romper room where tonight we are going to party like 6 year olds. (Yes, we realize that is what the scene is usually like anyways...) It's nothing but Shirley Temples and fruit punch getting poured at the bar this week. So come on in, get your sugar rush on prepare to squeal. It's party time!
Been listening to this year's version of We are the world 2010 over and over again. Generally speaking I would say that I like it because the proceeds of their effort will go to Haitian. People who really needs our help right now.
Comparing the new version of We are the world 2010, I must say that I really like the original version. Well, whatever version it is, what matter is that they gathered together to help those in need.
Parts that I like with the We are the world 25 for Haiti :
Please purchase this track on iTunes as all proceeds go to support relief efforts in Haiti.
FromWikipedia entry:
The new version features updated lyrics and music, such as a rap segment pertaining to Haiti, described as a "Greek chorus extension", which was written by will.i.am.[13][12][14][15] Other writers included Kanye West, Jones and LL Cool J.[7] Lionel Richie and Jones revealed that Michael Jackson's younger sister Janet duets with her late brother, as per a request from their mother Katherine Jackson. In the official video, there is archive footage of Michael Jackson from the original 1985 recording.[8] Richie said that he agreed with Katherine's request, commenting, "It made me feel more secure about this. We definitely felt a void. He's the other parent [to the song]."[8] The production team for the song include RedOne and musical director Rickey Minor. RedOne said that it took a week to compose "We Are The World 25 For Haiti".[16] He commented that he wanted to keep the "class of the original one" and did not want to "mess it up, because it's too good".[16] Although, he did note that he wanted to make the song "sound more now and current" while keeping the originals "whole chord progressions, the feeling and the vibe, but brought fresher sounds that are more now."

BPR Field Reporter, Rie Sadler, attended Malan Breton's Fall 2010 Show and sends us this report - thanks Rie!
On a beautiful but freezing day in the heart of midtown Manhattan, Malan Breton showcased his Fall 2010 collection. The audience was filled with celebrity guests including Alex McCord from “The Real Housewives of New York City”, Ronnie Kroell from “Make Me a Supermodel”, Mark Indelicato from “Ugly Betty”, singers Sacha Boutros and Constantine Maroulis, and several Project Runway alumni. This show by far was Malan’s most over-the-top production to date.
Our polls for Episode 5 are closed. You disagreed with the judges and felt that Ben Chmura deserved the win. Click here to see the results. You agreed with the judges and thought that Anna should have been the 'auf.' Click here to see the results.
Check back with us tomorrow for our Episode 6 poll.
Tonight should be a real hoot. Last week Tim called Episode 5 the biggest challenge in PR history awarding a shot of Heidi in the winning designer's look on the cover of Marie Claire ( SJP in S4 was the biggest challenge, if y'ask me.) This week appears to be the smallest challenge with pint-sized divas strutting and vamping in front of the judges.
So who to pick for a stylish Fantasy Team? Seth Aaron is a dad and should be able communicate with kids. Anthony has a great big smile so I think he'll be able to charm them into even their least favorite color. Pictures indicate that Emilio and Jesse grew up with siblings. And Mila was pretty in pink as little girl and seemed to love parties and puppies so she should know what little girls like.
I think I'm sticking with my team from last week. Amy looks kinda' dour but I don't trust preview editing. So that's that for me - Anthony, Amy and Mila, in alphabetical order.
So does anyone have any untold gossip from Fashion Week that we haven't heard yet? And, I'd like to add that the PR_Superfans team has more than 100 members. If our team had a uniform, which PR designer would you choose to design it?
How cute is that? She's lost in the land of giants!
In case you hadn't noticed, it's a kid-themed challenge tonight on Project Runway in Episode 6 "A Little Bit of Fashion". Team BPR has recovered from their brief jaunt into the Big Apple last week and is ready for action. Here's the plan for tonight:
Tbone will be back in blogcast booth with suzq for live play by play coverage of Episode 6. If you find yourself without Lifetime or are on the west coast and can't wait to find out the results, this is your ticket! Pre-game starts at 9:30 p.m. with live coverage at 10:00 p.m. ET.
The BPR playpen, er, party room opens at 9:30 p.m.Come watch slightly normal adults act like little kids while they watch Project Runway together.
After the show, stop by our reactions thread to whine, cry and have any sort of fit you like about tonight's episode. We won't even give you a time out!
Just another Thursday at the BPR Day Care Center. See you tonight!
Firstly, who's this artist?Shawn Colvin, an American singer-songwriter born January 10,1956. Here in Philippines particularly Cotabato, I think she's not that popular during the peak of her career. Can't comment in Philippine wide though.
I've heard her song Sunny Came Home around 1998. By that time, Alanis Morissette was already popular and Shawn Colvin in my opinion was trying her luck to be line-up with Alanis Morissette. I think they have different genre though. I think I must compare her to Sheryl Crow instead. Hmm. If you want to know more about her you can click here.
You can watch her live performance of her song Sunny Came home with lyrics below.
Sunny came home lryics
Sunny came home to her favorite room Sunny sat down in the kitchen She opened a book and a box of tools Sunny came home with a mission
She says days go by I'm hypnotized I'm walking on a wire I close my eyes and fly out of my mind Into the fire
Sunny came home with a list of names She didn't believe in transcendence It's time for a few small repairs she said Sunny came home with a vengeance
She says days go by I don't know why I'm walking on a wire I close my eyes and fly out of my mind Into the fire
Get the kids and bring a sweater Dry is good and wind is better Count the years, you always knew it Strike a match, go on and do it
Days go by I'm hypnotized I'm walking on a wire I close my eyes and fly out of my mind Into the fire Light the sky and hold on tight The world is burning down She's out there on her own and she's alright Sunny came home Sunny came home...

Amanda Fields for Leanne Marshall, Fall 2010 All photos: Coutorture
Leanne Marshall's Fall 2010 Collection was inspired by topography - yes, maps! The influence is evident here:
...and in many of the other looks from the collection. The talented season five winner presented a full range of garments including coats, skirts, jackets, cocktail dresses, and gowns.
Leanne admits working until the last minute and without sleep for 48 hours! She had help from fellow Project Runway alums, Maya Luz and Suede.
Our "Man on the scene," Mark Y, sat with Wesley Nault and Jennifer Diederich. He reports that Korto Momolu, Jay McCarroll, Ben Chmura and Jonathan Peters were in attendance. Season five model Karalyn West was also in the show. Mark describes the collection as glamorous and still "very Leanne." She has a distinctive look that is always fresh and original.
Amanda has had a busy week. She posed in Keith Lissner's presentation last Thursday and for Leanne Marshall yesterday. You will recognize Keith if you watched "The Fashion Show" on Bravo.
BPR Field Reporter Jessica Switaj attended Wesley Nault and Daniel Feld's show on Wednesday and sends us this report - thanks Jes!
On Wednesday evening, February 10th, I attended the GenArt New Garde fashion show, held at Drive-in Studios in Manhattan. As you probably already know, Wesley Nault and Daniel Feld were the stars of the evening, having recently won the GenArt competition sponsored by Plastics Make It Possible.
They used their $10,000 prize money to create an amazing collection inspired by past and present sea life, including coral, barnacles, trilobite fossils and conch shells. The inspiration was clearly present in each gorgeous, painstakingly constructed piece. I was able to stop by the WesFeld studio a few days before the show, so I can attest to the nearly countless hours that were taken to make these designs phenomenal. Click here to continue.
BPR Field Reporter Mark Y attended Irina's Show on Saturday night and sent us this report. Thank you Mark!
Irina's flight theme was evident in the use of feathers and wing motifs. The venue was very nice, with a white runway, drapes and chairs. There were striking Irina tote bags on each chair. Eighty-four seats and as many and more stood behind on both sides.
Many staffers in black, all teched up, and an obvious, but not in your face, presence of the Tupperware sponsorship which I think is very smart. Several people were obviously bussed from the tents because they were carrying the DHL vinyl bag many of which disappeared into Irina's chic black and white tote. I got a look inside the bag - all the items were in a Tupperware storage bin, another smart touch, a cookie, which my neighbor shared with me and make up mostly.
Waiters passed wine and special cocktails, pink and yellow. The music came on around 7:00 and amped up the excitement.
The collection reminded me throughout of Irina's Aspen Challenge look. Remember? The hooded knit vest? Variations on that. More glamour and less edge than her Bryant Park finale.
Several fantasy looks at the end in black, white, black and white and of course the feather dress which Kaelyn wore as the final look. Kalyn told me from her perch that it was quite comfortable.
It was quite a spectacular show and I was thrilled to be there.

I wonder if penpal is still in today. It depends on ones definition of penpal, as observed today, only few would bother to write a lengthy of paragraphs in a paper.
What is Pen pal ? A person with whom one becomes acquainted through a friendly, regular correspondence. Source: Answer.com
In a technology today, getting acquainted to a person can be in many medium. It could be cellular phone, email, chat, or popular social networking sites like Facbook.
I remember way back in high school, people also get acquainted by two-way radios. Another form of media for socializing which didn't last that long in my opinion. But for some of us during those days write letters to other schools to meet new friends. Philippine Post Office conducted seminar to encourage us to write letters and have friends from other schools. Unfortunately, I think none of us tried to.
What's the difference of penpal or online friends today? Ideally, none. But in speed of correspondence or let say connection, the difference could be a million miles really. It's beyond compare to what we have before. Mail from a post office is usually called as "Snail Mail", now who would like to receive a mail that will be received for a month or two. Who would want to full their garbage bin in a whole night just writing a letter?
Writing in a sheet of paper a way cheaper than typing in a computer using your keyboard.
10 Project Runway Season 7 designers showed their 10-piece collections at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week on Friday, February 12 at Bryant Park.
Click on the face of each designer to see their collection. You will see the dresses in the order that they were shown. SPOILER WARNING: purists that want to avoid seeing the garments before the finale show airs, do not click on the images.
For those of you who decided to look at the collections, what did you think?
