What happened to grey?

When I think of black and white combined on clothing, it makes me automatically think of those horrid Vans loafer shoes which are just so skate-worthy to such a point absolutely detest them and I have to admit that they sort of kill my love for combining black and white tones without looking like something off a chessboard. However, designers have proved me wrong with their eccentric yet very classic styles which involve both these colours and better yet, they won’t make you look like two things; a) something out of a chessboard or b) a zebra. So that has got to be good right? It is time to bring back a combining of black and white and relieve the outspoken fashions of the 70’s which embraced these classics. So, with that said; why don’t we just forget about grey which is an even more confusing combination of these two colours? I mean, who knew colours could be so complicated?
